KEN Mode opening for Circle Takes The Square in Dublin (some band called Kylesa played after CTTS, but who cares about that?).

KEN Mode were ok but like my friend Rob was saying when he wrote about the show in Leeds, not really doing anything new. A guy I was talking to at the gig said that maybe it’s a generational thing, which makes sense, I guess. This kind of music is always new for people at a certain age, and that’s not a bad thing. It makes it way easier for jaded veterans in their early twenties to look cool.

Still, they were good (and fuck knows they were better than the first heavy band I fell in love with as a kid), and I got some nice photos of them!
