The website I shoot for, Goldenplec, have asked me to send in my favourite shot of the year, for a feature they’re going to do. I’ve been looking back through my blog and I’m picking out some of my favourites! This isn’t one of my absolute best, but it was the first gig I shot for Goldenplec, and it was a fucking amazing gig. Wounds were playing their first gig since their guitarist (pictured) fell off a balcony, and might never have been able to walk again, let alone play guitar. As you can see, he recovered, and the atmosphere at this gig was incredible. Rolo Tomassi, the headliners, were really good, but they just couldn’t compete with this.

This must have been a pretty long exposure, I caught someone else’s flash after the crowd had dropped him (that’s why there’s two guitars in this picture).
